“How that gives my soul rest!”

Because of Him, I can rest.

Each night as we get ready to climb into bed, we have a decision to make.

A decision to kneel down and talk to our Heavenly Father.

I know it can be hard to push past the feelings of doubt and despair, but I invite you to turn to Him. Tell Him about your day. Tell Him about your feelings.

As you return, report, and repent, you can fall asleep and truly rest … because of Him.

Then on the Sabbath, as we bring our broken heart and contrite spirit to the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, we can be healed and be as clean as the day we were baptized.

Oh, how that gives my heart peace!

Oh, how that gives my soul rest!

Because of Him.
