He helps them find food and water. He does not let them get hurt or lost. He knows them and loves them and would give his life to save them. John 10:11–15 Jesus Christ called Himself the Good Shepherd. He is our shepherd. We are His sheep. He loves us. He helps us learn the truth. He teaches us how to live so we can return to Heavenly Father. He gave His life for us. John 10:11–15 The Savior told the people in Jerusalem that He had other sheep. He said He would visit these other sheep. The people did not understand. John 10:16; 3 Nephi 15:21–22, 24 After Jesus was resurrected, He visited His sheep in the Americas. The Book of Mormon tells about His visit there. Jesus stayed many days, healing the sick and blessing the people. He gave them the priesthood and organized His Church. Jesus taught the same things to these people that He had taught to the people in Jerusalem. 3 Nephi 11–28
