Historical Background

The New Zealand MTC was originally established on November 21, 1977, in Hamilton on the site of the former Church College of New Zealand. A new facility was opened in September 2010 in Auckland.

Location

The New Zealand MTC is located on the site of the Auckland New Zealand Temple (announced in October 2018). It is approximately 30 minutes from the area administrative offices.

Facilities

The MTC includes classrooms, outdoor space for missionary exercise, and access to an adjacent meetinghouse for exercise during inclement weather.

The MTC can train up to 112 missionaries at a time.
