The Peru MTC was established in 1986 and moved to its newly dedicated facility in La Molina in August 1998. At that time, North American missionaries learning Spanish began to attend the Peru MTC.
The Peru MTC is located in a residential neighborhood approximately one mile from the Lima Peru Temple. Area administrative offices are located in a building next to the MTC facility.
The MTC includes residence rooms, classrooms, a kitchen, a cafeteria, laundry facilities, and a small store. Exercise facilities include two outdoor soccer fields, outdoor stationary equipment, and outdoor courts for basketball, pickleball, and volleyball. There is also a walking track around the exercise facility.
The MTC can train up to 150 missionaries at a time.
