Historical Background

The Philippines MTC was established in 1983. The facility was expanded in 2012, raising its capacity to 160. It was further expanded in 2017, raising its capacity to 280.

Location

The Philippines MTC is located across the street from the Manila Philippines Temple and adjacent to the Philippines Area administrative offices.

Facilities

The Philippines MTC includes residence rooms, classrooms, a kitchen, a cafeteria, laundry facilities, a small MTC store, and an exercise building.

Exercise facilities include a playing field and an outdoor volleyball court. There is a large indoor exercise facility with stationary exercise equipment and courts for basketball and volleyball.

The MTC can train up to 280 missionaries at a time.
