[Music cue: “Come, Lord Jesus—Wedding Song” , ]
(At Mary's home, Mary’s family and Micham enter. Four young boys carry the wedding canopy. As the chorus of angels sings, Mary’s Mother dresses Mary in white, and Micham dresses Joseph in white. Zacharias and Elisabeth, holding a newborn baby, observe. Mary and Joseph approach Mary’s father, who stands under the canopy. He wraps their right hands together with swaddling bands.)
CHORUS
Come, Lord Jesus, see the wedding,
With Thy kinsmen joined in feast.
In our hearts Thy joy is spreading,
Bringing to the earth Thy peace.
Come in glory to the earth,
Come to us to rule and reign.
Ready us to kneel and greet Thee.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
CHORUS WOMEN
Come, Lord Jesus, see the dawning
Jubilation in the skies.
CHORUS MEN
Hear the heav’nly host responding,
Echoing our joyful cries.
CHORUS (ALL)
Come in glory to the earth,
Come to us to rule and reign.
Ready us to kneel and greet Thee.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
Come in glory to the earth,
Come to us to rule and reign.
Ready us to kneel and greet Thee.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
(Mary’s family, Micham, Zacharias, and Elisabeth watch as the newly married couple leave the stage. Then all exit.)
