Those who hold stake music callings assist the stake presidency in providing music for stake meetings and in suggesting and overseeing music activities that will meet the needs of the stake.
Music can help members feel spiritually unified. A stake music leader can help achieve this purpose by suggesting and selecting music that considers and contributes to the goals and messages of the meeting.
The following pages provide more information about stake music callings. Much of this information comes from “Music,” chapter 14 of Handbook 2: Administering the Church, 113-18.
