Elder Keith R. Edwards
Elder Keith R. Edwards was sustained a member of the Second Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2006. He was serving as an Area Seventy in the North America Southwest Area at the time of his call as a General Authority.
Elder Edwards attended the Church College of Hawaii and completed his undergraduate studies in political science at Brigham Young University. He earned a law degree from the University of Utah and practiced law in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Elder Edwards previously served the Church as a full-time missionary in the Florida Mission, as president of the Zimbabwe Harare Mission (2000-2003), area welfare director, stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, assistant temple recorder, seminary teacher, bishop, and counselor in a bishopric.
Keith Reid Edwards was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, on March 16, 1942. He married Judith Lee Higgins in 1964, and they are the parents of seven children. They have 24 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
