Between the Sunday morning and afternoon sessions of general conference, The World Report outlined the last six months of news events around the world pertaining to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This edition of The World Report highlighted the cultural celebration and rededication of the Laie Hawaii Temple, along with the history of the Church in that area.
It also reviewed the dedication of the new BYU-Idaho Center at the end of 2010.

A month later, a genealogy conference—RootsTech—presented new information on searching and documenting family history.
The World Report also highlighted the current construction of more than two dozen temples around the world, especially the Rome Italy Temple.
Meanwhile, in Goshen, Utah, USA, the holy land is being recreated as a model of old-world Jerusalem is constructed for future Church videos.
During the first month of 2011, former secretary of state Condoleeza Rice addressed students at BYU, detailing the personal and worldwide benefits of higher education.
That same week, Dieter F. Uchtdorf , Second Counselor in the First Presidency, lent a hand in opening a new airport in St. George, Utah, USA.
The World Report also updated Church members on the humanitarian aid given following extreme flooding in Rio de Janiero, Brazil and fires in Herriman, Utah, USA.
The report also showed an interview with a member of the Church History Department on the devastation of the Provo Tabernacle fire.
In March 2011, H. David Burton, Presiding Bishop, was honored by the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce for his years of work revitalizing the city.
The World Report ended with a recap of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s annual Christmas Concert, which featured David Archuleta in 2010.
