Seven New MTC Presidents Called
Seven new mission presidents and their wives have been called to serve in missionary training centers all over the world, including the Mexico MTC.
Seven new missionary training center presidents and their wives have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in January.
Dean R. and Annette C. Burgess
Dean Reid Burgess, 68, and Annette Christensen Burgess, five children, Karalee Ward, Sandy Utah Granite South Stake: Provo Missionary Training Center, succeeding President Lon B. Nally and Sister Kaye Nally. Brother Burgess is a former counselor in the Young Men general presidency, president of the Brazil Belo Horizonte East Mission, stake president, bishop, and missionary in the Brazilian Mission. Homebuilder for Perry Homes Inc. Born in Alpine, Utah, to Reid C. and Ethel King Burgess. Sister Burgess served with her husband in the Brazil Belo Horizonte East Mission and is a former member of the Young Women general board, ward Relief Society and Young Women president, and Sunday School teacher. Born in Richfield, Utah, to Alten and Alta Wintch Christensen.
Kenneth L. and Mary C. DuVall
Kenneth Leroy DuVall, 62, and Mary Beth Cummings DuVall, five children, Bennion 5th Ward, Bennion Utah Stake: Colombia Missionary Training Center, succeeding President Robert G. Dyer and Sister Lynda H. Dyer. Brother DuVall is a former president of the Spain Bilbao Mission, stake president, bishop, stake executive secretary, high councilor assigned to young single adults, elders quorum president, and missionary in the Chile Concepcion Mission. Professor and program director, LDS Business College. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Presley Arthur and Marie Black DuVall. Sister DuVall served with her husband in the Spain Bilbao Mission and is a former stake young single adult Relief Society adviser, ward Young Women president, counselor in a ward Relief Society presidency, and ward Relief Society teacher. Born in Salt Lake City to Joseph Lorraine and Joye Jensen Cummings.

John Raymond Gibson, 69, and Kathryn Esther McVinish Gibson, seven children, Kenmore Ward, Brisbane Australia Stake: New Zealand Missionary Training Center, succeeding President Hori T. Tarawhiti and Sister Cairo Tarawhiti. Brother Gibson is a former Area Seventy, president of the Papua New Guinea Port Moresby Mission, regional representative, temple president, stake president, and bishop. Retired country director, Church Educational System. Born in Brisbane, Australia, to Lily Ellen Hilda Marshall Gibson. Sister Gibson served with her husband in the Papua New Guinea Port Moresby Mission and is a former temple matron, stake Relief Society President, seminary teacher, and ward Relief Society and Young Women president. Born in Brisbane, Australia, to Angus Alfred and Sarah Faith Jenyns McVinish.

Octaviano Tenorio Domínguez, 71, and Rosa Elva Valenzuela de Tenorio, five children, Benemérito Ward, México City Arbolillo Stake: Mexico Missionary Training Center, succeeding President Carl B. Pratt and Sister Karen Pratt. Brother Tenorio is an emeritus member of the Seventy and a former Area Seventy, regional representative, president of the México Tuxtla Gutiérrez Mission, and stake president. Retired temple recorder, Mexico City Temple. Born in Tilapan, Veracruz, México, to Octaviano Tenorio Herrera and Flora Domínguez Vázquez. Sister Tenorio served with her husband in the Mexico Tuxtla Gutiérrez Mission and is a former ward Relief Society president, counselor in ward Relief Society, Young Women, and Primary presidencies, and ward music director.
