Temple Square Lights Up for 2019 Christmas Season

Hundreds of thousands of colorful miniature bulbs lit up on Temple Square in Salt Lake City on November 29 for an annual Christmas tradition that draws crowds from all over the world.
In addition to the light and nativity displays, Temple Square is celebrating the season by hosting various musical performances, concerts performed by The Tabernacle Choir, movies in the Legacy Theater in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, and the First Presidency Christmas devotional, which will be held on Sunday, December 8.
The annual light display on Temple Square will continue during the upcoming multiyear renovation of the Salt Lake Temple, though it may be somewhat limited during construction beginning next season until 2024.
