The Church is featuring a new video titled “Hallelujah” as the centerpiece of its 2016 Easter initiative and asks members worldwide to help spread its inspiring message.

The two-minute video features millennial-age (18- to 34-year-old) women and men from around the world bearing witness of the living Christ and His importance in our lives today.

Inspired by the “Hallelujah” chorus from Handel’s Messiah, the Easter initiative is the Church’s witness to the world that because the Savior lives, we all have access to hope, joy, peace, repentance, and eternal life as we heed His call to “come, follow me” (Luke 18:22).

As with past Christmas and Easter initiatives, Church leaders hope members will watch and share the video and then invite others to visit FollowHim.mormon.org, where they can learn more about the Savior.

Watch and download the “Hallelujah” video at FollowHim.mormon.org or from the Gospel Library app in 29 languages beginning March 13. FollowHim.mormon.org also has an animated video in the same 29 languages you can share. To download these videos and other short promotional clips, go to mormon.org/download.

In collaboration with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and to coincide with the release of their newest recording of George Frideric Handel’s Messiah, FollowHim.mormon.org features a virtual choir where participants have recorded and uploaded videos of themselves singing the “Hallelujah” chorus, which were added electronically to the choir.

During the initiative, content on the Church's social media websites (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, and Instagram) will have examples of the blessings available to us in our daily lives as we “follow Him.” As you post related messages on social media, please include #Hallelujah.

To help you invite others to learn more about Jesus Christ and His Atonement, download PDFs of pass-along cards at mormon.org/download (in 29 languages). English, Spanish, and Portuguese cards will be available for purchase at store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.

Watch for ads about the initiative on the YouTube home page on Easter Sunday, March 27, in Argentina and Mexico.

Last December the Church's Christmas message reached millions of people worldwide through its social media efforts, outdoor advertising, displays in visitors’ centers, member and missionary tools, and online paid promotions that featured “A Savior Is Born,” a video inspired by Isaiah 9:6 and Handel's Messiah.
