All aspects of your life will improve as you seek to come closer to Jesus and keep His commandments. You will have more peace and joy, a stronger relationship with God, and a greater sense of meaning in your life. Missionaries can help you with specific concerns, such as coping with loss, strengthening your relationships with your family, overcoming bad habits, learning how to pray, keeping the Sabbath day holy, and understanding the scriptures better. When you meet with missionaries, tell them what you hope to gain from your visits so they can tailor their message to address your needs.

Jesus Christ loves each one of us individually, and the way He shares His love is just as personal. Jesus’s love is easier to find when we create moments to seek it out, whether by praying to God or by studying Jesus’s words in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Another way you can feel His love is by sharing your love with others. The Bible teaches that as we live in peace with one another, we can feel Jesus’s love for us.

Jesus paid the price for every sin. You may have felt that your sins are too serious or that you have made the same mistake too many times. But no matter how much we have sinned, we can always repent and be forgiven.

Repentance is a chance to become better. God will be patient with you as you work to overcome bad habits and addictions and make real changes in your life. This change is possible through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice. No matter how long it takes, it’s worth it.

Church service times vary from congregation to congregation. However, you can always count on one main worship service for everyone, followed by classes for children, youth, and adults.

The service for everyone is called “sacrament meeting.” This meeting consists of songs, prayers, and sermons (or “talks”) given by different members of the congregation every week. But the most important part of the meeting is when we take the bread and water of the sacrament (similar to Communion) to remember the Savior.
