Jesus Christ’s Church
When Jesus was on the earth, He established His Church. That same Church exists today.
What happened to Jesus's Church?
Peter and other Church leaders were rejected and killed. Key teachings and priesthood authority were lost.
After many centuries, God and Jesus called a new prophet, Joseph Smith, to restore the Church and all of its true teachings.
God has always called prophets to guide His people—in the Old Testament, the New Testament, and today.
Jesus came to earth not only to save us from sin but also to establish His church. When He died, he left behind more than just powerful sermons and teachings. He left behind Apostles, commandments, and a basic church organization that would continue to bless others long after His death and resurrection. He also gave righteous men the priesthood, or the power to act in His name, so that they could baptize and heal others and guide the Church.
Come worship the Savior Jesus Christ with us! You will benefit by studying His teachings in the holy scriptures and listening to what He has told prophets and apostles in our day. You will feel God’s love as you participate in serving one another in the Lord’s Church.
