Join us for free concerts at the Brigham Young Historic Park on Temple Square. Concerts are held on Friday evenings throughout the summer. These hour-long concerts are open to the public, and all ages are welcome. No ticket needed. With a wide variety of musical styles, there’s something for everyone. There is free parking after 5:30 p.m. in the North Office Building east lot (125 N. State Street) which is accessible going southbound on State Street.

Join Kenneth Cope, with Tyler Casteton on piano, for an evening of spiritually inspirational songs written and recorded over his long career. Experience heartfelt narratives reflecting on our spiritual path and faith, centered around our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

The Phoenix Jazz and Swing Band will perform America’s classic jazz music from the 1940s to today, featuring 17 instrumentalists from the Wasatch Front area, including rhythm section, saxes, trombones, and trumpets. Maestro Cy Schmitt and the band will be joined by the talented vocal trio the Sugar Sisters.

The music of singer and songwriter Cori Connors has been heard worldwide, earning her platinum status as a songwriter and accolades such as the International Family Choice Award, but there’s nothing like hearing the composer singing and playing her own songs. Joining Cori will be the talented Kelly DeHaan, Mark Robinette, and Timothy Petersen, creating warm harmonies for her heartfelt tunes.

Amplify is the award-winning advanced performance mixed voice a cappella group of Rise Up Children’s Choir, coming to our stage on the heels of their first-place win at the 2024 Varsity Vocals International Championship of A Cappella! Bringing their acclaimed repertoire to our stage and directed by Bronwyn Jensen, they offer uplifting and inspirational music.

Come enjoy Mama’s Boys, a family bluegrass and western band led by a father and his five sons. With over 20 years of performances across Utah, including a residency as the house band of a local dinner theater, they will present a captivating musical journey across many different styles of “homegrown” music.

Wasatch District and Pipe Band returns by popular demand, bringing an authentic Scottish experience with bagpipe music and highland dance. They have performed for U.S. and international audiences, including at the renowned World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. Tonight, it’s our turn!

You’ll recognize some of opera’s most beloved arias, as well as beautiful spirituals and popular songs.
