Public Open House

A free public open house for the Rio de Janeiro Brazil Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be from from Saturday, March 26, through Saturday, April 16, 2022 (excluding March 27, April 2, 3 and 10.

Youth Devotional and Dedication

A youth devotional will be held Saturday, May 7, prior to the rededication on Sunday, May 8, presided by Elder Gary G. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. The dedicatory sessions and the youth devotional will be broadcast to congregations in the Brazil Temple district.

Additional Open House Information

The Rio de Janeiro Temple will be the eighth dedicated temple in Brazil, following the Recife, Porto Alegre, Campinas, São Paulo, Curitiba, Manaus and Fortaleza Brazil Temples. There are three other temples currently under construction in Belém, Brasília and Salvador, and three additional temples have been announced in Belo Horizonte, São Paulo East (the second in the city) and Vitória.
