Which rides and performances require tickets?
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, tickets are required for both wagon and carriage rides, as well as for performances in the visitors’ center. When “Sunset by the Mississippi” moves from the outdoor stage to the visitors’ center after Labor Day, tickets will be required through mid-October
How do I book tickets for the rides and performances?
Visit Historic Nauvoo’s Eventbrite page to reserve your ticket. Free tickets are available starting at 7:00 a.m. central time the day you’d like to attend. Tickets can be booked up to 20 minutes before the event starts.
When do tickets become available?
Tickets for the day become available at 7:00 a.m. central time.
How much do tickets cost?
All tickets are free. Tickets are only used to manage the number of people who can participate in activities with limited seating.
How do timed tickets work?
Your ticket only works for the time you booked. You must be in line and ready to show your ticket at least 10 minutes before the event starts. If you are late, your ticket will be void.
Can I reserve advance tickets for the rides or performances before my visit?
Advance tickets are not available. Tickets can only be booked the day of your visit starting at 7:00 a.m. central time.
How do timed tickets work?
Your ticket only works for the time you booked. You must be in line and ready to show your ticket at least 10 minutes before the event starts. If you are late, your ticket will be void.
What if I’m late for my ride or performance?
If you are not in line at least 10 minutes before the event starts, your ticket will be void. You will have to go to the end of the standby line or book another ticket for a later time.
How do I cancel my tickets?
You can only cancel an entire order. You can cancel your order either using the Eventbrite app or by following the links in your confirmation email. On the Eventbrite app, click on the tickets you’d like to cancel.
Click on the three vertical dots in the header, and in the drop-down menu, click “Cancel Order.” Confirm your cancellation.
In your confirmation email, click the button “Go to My Tickets.” Click “Cancel Order.” Confirm your cancellation.
What do I do if tickets are sold out?
Get in the standby line. If someone doesn’t arrive 10 minutes before the event starts, you might get a seat. However, this is not guaranteed.
Check the Eventbrite page throughout the day to see if any tickets become available from somebody canceling their order.
Does my child need a ticket?
Children will need tickets for performances in the visitors’ center theater.
Children two and under who sit on a parent’s lap do not need tickets for the wagon and carriage rides.
How many tickets can I book?
An individual may only book 5 tickets for rides and only 10 tickets for performances. Any tickets above this limit will be canceled. If you have a group larger than these limits, have other members of your group book the remaining tickets.
All of my tickets have my name on them. Can a friend or family member use a ticket with my name?
Yes, as long as there are no more than the maximum number of tickets in your name.
How do I change the date/time on my tickets?
You must cancel and book new tickets.
Do you accept printed tickets?
No. We will only accept eTickets on the Eventbrite app or digital tickets displayed on your phone.
