All are welcome to tour the open house for the Taylorsville Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Temples are sacred buildings designed to help God’s children feel close to Him and His Son, Jesus Christ. Open houses are held prior to a formal dedication for the purpose of sharing this sacred space with the community. Once the temple is dedicated, entrance is reserved for members of the Church. During the open house, all are welcome to enjoy the beautiful grounds and this sacred house of the Lord.

Admission
Admission is free; reservations are recommended. The open house event includes a short walking tour through the temple. Comfortable shoes and modest dress are recommended. Service animals are not permitted in the temple. Please refrain from smoking on temple grounds.When

Address/Parking
Shuttle Parking 8:30am - 9:00pm is located at 2780 W. 4700 S. Please plan to arrive at the shuttle lot approximately 30 minutes before your confirmed time to tour the temple.Guest shuttles will run to and from the temple approximately every 15 minutes. Shuttles are not equipped for wheelchairs.
Admittance to the temple grounds will be by shuttle bus only. The only exception for parking on temple property will be for vehicles with a valid state-issued disabled plate or placard. Please do not park in residential areas, or you risk being ticketed.
