Dawson learned that his friend was helping with a Vacation Bible School, so he decided to help too!
“It was an awesome experience to meet people who believe in Jesus Christ even though they weren’t members of the Church,” he said.
It was hard work! It took up a lot of time and was pretty stressful for Dawson. But he had a special experience at the end of the week.
“One of the volunteers that I had met a few days earlier asked what he could pray for that would help me,” Dawson said. “Him reaching out meant a lot. It reminded me that God puts us in certain places for a reason, and that even small things can go a long way when you are looking out for the one.”
