One of the Savior’s most famous sermons during His mortal life is called the “Sermon on the Mount.” It’s the one that includes several statements starting with “blessed are the...,” known as the Beatitudes.
When the Savior visited His followers on the American continent after His Resurrection, He wanted to share these important teachings with them, too. And he added a few new teachings!
