Things may not always go the way you planned. Lots of Book of Mormon people experienced that! Can you think of stories where someone in the Book of Mormon was asked to trust God and go through some hard times before they received their reward?
As Nephi wrote, “O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever” (2 Nephi 4:34).
Heavenly Father will always fulfill His promises to you, just like He did with the people in the scriptures. Some promised blessings will come soon. Others might require patience and come down the road. Until our eternal days of peace and joy arrive, let’s enjoy the good days we have here on earth!
