His conversion didn’t happen in isolation.

Here’s Medi’s 99+1 story!

Being a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, missionaries first helped me to gain a testimony of the church and to enter into the covenant path through baptism.

Although this took about two months to accomplish, it would take seven years for me to become fully converted to Jesus Christ.

I was lucky to have a mentor who was humble, selfless, and thoughtful of others, especially me. But his most important characteristic was the love he had for Heavenly Father and his children here on the earth.

These are the characteristics I hope to inherit as I prepare to serve a mission and fulfill my calling on the seminary counsel.

President Russell M. Nelson turns 100 years old on Sept. 9! He said it would brighten his life if we would reach out to “the one” in our lives who may be feeling lost or alone.
