Here’s an activity to test your skills.

The New Testament tells the stories of several women who lived during (or around) the time of the Savior’s mortal life. Let’s see if you can match the names below with their descriptions! Scroll down to check your answers.

New Testament: Anna

1. She was a temple worker who saw Jesus as an infant and testified that He was the Savior. (See Luke 2:36–38.)

2. She was the mother of Jesus Christ. (See Luke 1:26–56.)

3. She was a seamstress who donated blankets and clothes to the poor. An apostle raised her from the dead! (See Acts 9:36–41.)

4. She was Mary’s cousin and the mother of John the Baptist. She was one of the first to know the Savior was going to be born. (See Luke 1:39–42.)
