Joy plus prayer equals discipleship!
What do each of these verses have in common?
They encourage us to rejoice! Sometimes we might get so caught up in the “do this” and “don’t do that” rules of the gospel that we forget it is an overall message of JOY.
Joy because Jesus Christ gives us a chance to try again every day.
Joy because the Spirit can comfort us during the hardest trials of life.
Joy because we can talk with our Heavenly Father anytime, anywhere!

When did you feel happy, joyful feelings today? Joy goes deeper than just happiness—we can feel a joyful sort of peace even during hard times. But it can include happy times too!
