Scripture of the Day: “Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life.” —3 Nephi 5:13

Does today’s scripture sound familiar? It should! It’s where the 2024 youth theme came from: “I Am a Disciple of Jesus Christ.”

This verse is where Mormon introduces himself to readers of the Book of Mormon. And the first thing he tells us, after his name and where it came from, is that he follows the Savior.
