Imagine you only had a week to live. Where would you go? What would you do?
Would a temple be on your list of destinations?
It was for the Savior. Which is no surprise, because experiences with the temple were part of His life from the beginning. Jesus was taken there as a baby, where a man and woman recognized Him as the Messiah. He returned the temple as a youth and taught those who were worshipping there.
During the week before His death and Resurrection, Jesus returned to the temple once more. He cast out those who were buying and selling things. He healed people who were suffering. Then He went to stay at the home of His friends.
How can you connect with the temple today? Here are a few ideas:
- Schedule an interview to get your temple recommend.
- Look at pictures of temples on the Church website.
- Draw a picture of a temple to put in your room.
- Write in your journal about your last temple visit.
Maybe you could make plans to visit the House of the Lord soon! Our lives can be joyful #BecauseofHim.
