Today let’s think about Joseph’s loyalty!
He found himself in a really confusing situation. The woman he was planning on marrying was going to have a baby, and he wasn’t the father! What should he do?
Joseph decided to be kind to Mary and end their engagement privately. Then an angel told him the truth: that he was meant to help raise Jesus Christ, the Savior. Talk about an epic mission call!
How did Joseph respond? With loyalty. He showed loyalty to Mary by marrying her and caring for her. He showed loyalty to Heavenly Father by accepting the unexpected situation and moving forward with faith. And He showed loyalty to the Savior by being committed to taking care of His family.
