No two of us are the same.

I have been blessed to get to know five members of a family from Afghanistan who arrived in my neighborhood just two months ago. The more time I spend with them the more I love them and I see many more similarities between us than differences. I've felt their generosity and kindness as they've shared several traditional Afghan meals with me and have asked questions about some of our traditions. I plan to sponsor two of their family members to come to Utah, the wife and mother of one of the brothers who is here. I hope to encourage other neighbors and friends to sponsor other family members, so they can all be reunited. Their lives are in danger because of their ethnicity and because they have family members who have worked with the United States. I know how sad I would feel to be separated from my spouse, parents and siblings, especially if I was unable to help them myself.

we are made in gods image. when you look at another person look for that image of god. its there it may be on the out side or hiding deep with in but it is there . do yo love god do you love what he has given you. he has blessed us with each other . we are all learning the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. we don't know or live it all we are all still learning together.
