Sometimes you have to take a stand!

Here’s what Mormon 3 might’ve been like.

Mormon had been the leader of the Nephite army ever since he was a teenager. They had won many battles and lost a few.

Through it all, the Nephites had generally relied on the Lord. Now, though, they had gotten unrighteous. They started to brag about their own strength—as if they didn’t need God’s help!

It was at this point that Mormon refused to lead them anymore. He couldn’t be part of, let alone in charge of, a movement that rejected God’s commandments.

To Think About

Have you ever left a party, movie, or group because it was filled with unrighteous behavior? What do you think Moroni would have said to you?
