Keep trying to draw closer to God—He will help you succeed.
Do you ever feel like you’ll never be good enough to return to live with God again? Sometimes it’s easy to see how mercy and love apply to everyone else, but not ourselves.
We’ve got good news: Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want you with Them again. And, as President M. Russell Ballard said, that reunion “is more than just our goal—it is also Their goal.”1 They love you and will never give up trying to help you.
So don’t give up! Your worthiness isn’t based on one great act. It comes as we keep trying to follow Jesus Christ each day. Just take it one day at a time.
