Did you hear the exciting news that the Church recently purchased the historic Kirtland Temple building from another religious organization that had managed it for many years?
Like the Lord helped the early Saints construct this beautiful building, He can help you become the best version of yourself! Here are 5 invitations to think about.
1. Care for both your body and spirit. Together, these make up your soul. What can you do to take care of yourself physically? Search for posts using the key word “physical health” for ideas.
2. Create a routine of prayer and scripture study. These are important habits for spiritual health. You might be surprised how much they change your day!
3. Surround yourself with positive people. Who helps you reach good goals? Who brings out the most Christ-like side of you? These are your true friends.
4. Serve others. Don’t just sit around reading about the Savior—get on your feet and help others the way He would! Serving others is one of the best ways to find happiness here on earth, so this is totally a win-win.
5. Embrace the joy. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want us to find joy, both in this life and the next. (See 2 Nephi 2:25.) This doesn’t mean that life will be easy, but it does mean that lasting peace is possible no matter what life throws at us.
Don’t wait another day to work with the Master Builder! He will never let you down.
