The Savior overcame it all.

That’s cause for celebration!

Life has its problems—but we have plenty to celebrate, too!

That must be how Alma the Younger felt after suffering for his sins and being redeemed by the Savior.

“I was in the darkest abyss,” he said, “but now I behold the marvelous light of God” (Mosiah 27:29).

Here’s a joyful song about celebrating the good news of the gospel. The lyrics have an important reminder:

“See what you’ve been given
And turn your life into more than livin’.”

To Think About

How can you more fully “celebrate” the Savior’s Atonement? What can you do to make your life about more than just surviving?

“Celebration”

Wake up in the morning,
Going through the motions,
Slowly blending into the crowd.

Trapped inside a maze and
Feeling like you’re fadin’,
That’s not what this life is about. So,

Take off those dark sunglasses,
Look up and let the light in,
You’ll see that there’s so much to love.

Chorus:

And it’s a celebration,
Leave your worries behind.
This is an invitation
To celebrate your life.
Just look around, just look around
And see what you’ve been given,
And turn your life into more than livin’
It’s a celebration,
Let’s celebrate tonight.
Celebrate,
Let’s celebrate tonight.
Celebrate.

Jump up to the ceiling,
You don’t need a reason,
Take a moment breathe it in.
Life is such a blessing,
Show a little faith, it’s
Time for chapter two to begin.

Take off those dark sunglasses,
Look up and let the light in,
You’ll see that there’s so much to love.

Chorus

There’s really one big reason
We should be celebrating:
Our Savior overcame it all.
