It’s a place of eternal promises and sacred power.

Receiving your temple endowment is an important, sacred experience. The word endowment means “a gift”—and, through the endowment, Heavenly Father offers you incredible gifts, including:

  1. Greater knowledge of the Lord’s purposes and teachings.
  2. Power to do all that God wants you to do.
  3. Divine direction and protection as you serve the Lord, your family, and others.
  4. Increased hope, comfort, and peace.
  5. Promised blessings now and forever.1

President Russell M. Nelson taught, “Every woman and every man who […] [is] endowed in the house of the Lord receive[s] a gift of God’s priesthood power by virtue of their covenant, along with a gift of knowledge to know how to draw upon that power.”2
