Receiving your temple endowment is an important, sacred experience. The word endowment means “a gift”—and, through the endowment, Heavenly Father offers you incredible gifts, including:
- Greater knowledge of the Lord’s purposes and teachings.
- Power to do all that God wants you to do.
- Divine direction and protection as you serve the Lord, your family, and others.
- Increased hope, comfort, and peace.
- Promised blessings now and forever.1
President Russell M. Nelson taught, “Every woman and every man who […] [is] endowed in the house of the Lord receive[s] a gift of God’s priesthood power by virtue of their covenant, along with a gift of knowledge to know how to draw upon that power.”2
