Here’s a little reminder of what our “great work” is for the year:1
“Anytime you do anything that helps anyone—on either side of the veil—take a step toward making covenants with God and receiving their essential baptismal and temple ordinances, you are helping to gather Israel,” President Russell M. Nelson said.2
What does that have to do with the upcoming general conference?
Well, conference is a good time to come to Heavenly Father with our questions and receive personal revelation. Maybe the youth theme is something you can ask Him about. Ask Him how you can help gather Israel. Then listen to conference for ideas. Make sure to especially listen to what the prophet says about it.
Now, how does this all relate to Easter?
The Church’s theme for this Easter is “Starting Today.” Maybe you’ve been super busy with school, family, or friends and haven’t really thought about your role in gathering Israel. That’s OK! Because of Jesus Christ, you can always start today to draw closer to Him and help others do the same. It’s a season of new beginnings.
Bottom line: April 2021 is going to be awesome if we choose to treat it that way!
