Have you ever been in front of an impatient driver?
Julio told us about a time he was. The more the driver behind him honked, the more Julio slowed down to teach him a lesson.
But then Julio saw where the driver was headed: the emergency room! Julio realized that the impatient driver was trying to get his wife and baby to the hospital. He had been assuming the worst in someone who was just trying to get through a horrible situation.
“Today, when I see someone act in a way I judge to be wrong, I prefer to think that I do not quite understand what they are going through,” Julio said. “I try to show the love and compassion that Jesus Christ has asked us to have.”
Let’s decide right now to give people the benefit of the doubt—assuming that they are doing their best they can with whatever they are going through.
You can read Julio’s full story here. Isn’t it awesome that we can all learn from each other?
