Each day this week, we will be sharing a different way you can explore your heritage.
Today, spend a few minutes learning about what happened the year you were born. How many other people shared your same name? What technology break-throughs happened that year? What movies and songs were popular?
Don’t worry—this won’t require a lot of internet searching. You can find a personal dashboard with all of this information in just three steps:
- Go to FamilySearch.org and sign in.
- Click on “Activities” at the top of the page.
- Click “All About Me.”
Compare results with friends and other members of your family. What is similar? What is different?
PS—Did you know October is “family history month” in some countries?!
