Last week we asked for stories about times where you were shown love, or when you showed love to others. And we’ve been so happy to hear from many of you!
For example, Madison from Australia told us about a spiritual experience she had while ministering to her mom.
One Saturday morning, Madison woke up really early—which was rare because she likes to sleep in! She felt a sense of peace, but also a sense of sadness. Walking downstairs, she discovered that her mom had just had a miscarriage that morning.
Madison sat and talked with her mom. She gave her a shoulder and foot massage. Her mom later said that the comfort Madison gave her allowed her to feel peaceful and happy, even in that sad moment.
All of this helped Madison learn that ministering doesn’t have to be a grand gesture. It can be done in small and simple ways, especially to those who are closest to us!
