Yes, miracles happen!

It’s a prophetic promise.

President Russell M. Nelson has been speaking about miracles lately.

Like when robbers put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger, but it didn’t fire!1

The prophet promises that the Lord will bless us with miracles, too, if we believe.

“Do the spiritual work to seek miracles,” he said. “Prayerfully ask God to help you exercise that kind of faith.”2

Remember that all things happen according to God’s will—so “expecting miracles” doesn’t mean that everything we wish will come true. But we can expect God’s power to help all things work together for our good!

Here are a few other quotes about miracles:

  • “Miracles, signs, and wonders abound among followers of Jesus Christ today, in your lives and in mine,” said Elder Ronald A. Rasband. “Many of you have witnessed miracles, more than you realize.”3
  • “We are witnessing the miracles of the Lord as His gospel is spreading across the world,” said Elder Neil L. Andersen.4
  • “As we minister as He would, we witness His miracles, His blessings,” said Elder Gerrit W. Gong.5

We thought the song above, from the summer music festival, was a good match for this message. Isn’t it great?!

Miracles You've Seen

One of the most valuable thing you could record for your descendants is the miracles your family has witnessed. Talk to your parents and write down the stories!
