You Asked, We Listened. Here’s What’s Coming in Gospel Living.

Telephone communications

The Gospel Living app has only just launched, but requests for new features and options have already been pouring in from all over the world, which is awesome because we want this app to bless your life and work for you.

So keep those ideas coming. This is only the beginning.

In the meantime, you’ll be happy to know that much of what you’re asking for is already in the works, including:

IMPROVED CIRCLES

Adult leaders and teachers will soon get a Circle associated with their calling to allow them to better coordinate and communicate. Some stake Circles are coming too. High fives all around!

FLEXIBLE CIRCLES

This one’s big. You will soon have the ability to add people (including friends not of our faith) to an existing Circle. Neat, right?

GOALS DASHBOARD

You’ve told us you want an easier way to see your goals categorized into the four areas of emphasis (spiritual, physical, social, intellectual). That’s brilliant. We’re going to make it happen.

IMPROVEMENTS FOR “TODAY”

Lots of you are asking, “Now, what is Today for, exactly?” Well, Today is a way for you to see what you’ve committed to do today: goals, activities, daily reminders, etc. It’s not intended to be a calendar, but we are investigating the possibilities of a single calendar for a future release.

SHARING

You want the ability to share Gospel Living content to social media. Or via email. Or whatever your device will allow. Yes! We love it. That’s coming soon too. Stay tuned.

KEEP THE FEEDBACK COMING

Do you have other ideas on how to make Gospel Living better? We hope so. Go to My Profile and send us feedback.

For now, enjoy everything the app has to offer, and let’s all find joy in gospel living.

It would be great to see an update on where we stand with Circles. So much potential!!

I see where you can list events. It would be nice to see it on a calendar as well as a list. Or a link to a church calendar. This would make it a one stop shop situation. thanks

As the President of the Branch, I would like the ability to create a group for all leadership in the Branch, not just Branch Presidency or Branch Council. Our leadership comes from out of unit callings from other Wards. We have service Missionaries, Teachers, Pianist and so on which need to be a part of the group. The members of the branch are residents in a care facility, so I need a way to create a special group without local members being able to join, as they are able in the "Adults" group.

I agree with the comments to add non-member friends to the top of the priority list, and also adding a web app. A lot of our youth don't have a dedicated device, so this would allow them to take part if they could log in anywhere. For now Circles is unusable for our unit until these are resolved, and I have heard similar things from other units in our stake. The concept is great!

Good day, My wife and I are the communication specialists in our Ward. We are empty nesters and are of a more senior age group (don't tell my wife I said that! lol) We are in a couple of circles however, to monitor and add effective things in the different circles in the Ward we'd like to be able to add circles that so that we can help all areas with concepts and communication items to more effectively use this tool. Also, a computer app for our MAC would be a nice addition as well. thx

Agree on the need for a desktop Windows/MacOS app or a web app.

Has the ability to add non-member to circles been worked on? If so, how do we do that. If not, can this be put to the top of the list. There is so much need for this!!!

It would be nice to be able to create custom circles. For Example: - Create a "Missionary Update" Circle that we can include our current full time missionaries and stake high counselor over missionary work. - Create a "Family History" Circle and add all the organization leaders involved. I love the potential of Circles. Over all more flexibility would allow us to better use the app in place of looking to a non church messaging app.

This needs to be available as an app on Windows and Mac desktop systems. If only available on smartphones then we are limiting access.
