Have you ever donated money to the Church’s humanitarian aid fund? If so, you are helping people around the world! Here’s a recent example.
On Feb. 6, massive earthquakes struck Türkiye and Syria, killing tens of thousands of people. Major aftershocks were still hitting the region weeks later. Members of the Church immediately sent food, clothes, blankets, medicine, water, sanitation kits, and other supplies to help those in the area.
As it happens, the Church had organized an Emergency Response Committee for central Europe last year in response to the conflict in Ukraine. Now that committee is coordinating the earthquake relief efforts!
