Description

The work crew assists with technical support of the pageant, including the stage, props, lighting, site, and preshow activities. Work crew members work closely with pageant staff and cast members.


Schedule


This volunteer position lasts three weeks.


Age Requirements


Single young men age 17 to 23.


Financial Requirements


The work crew is a volunteer position. Upon acceptable completion of their work crew assignment, a travel reimbursement of up to $300.00 will be returned to the work crew member before their departure date. Work crew members are responsible for their transportation. Participants have the option of participating in the pageant meal program. Lunches and dinners are served cafeteria-style by a contracted caterer.


Other Requirements


Applicants should be preparing for or have already served a full-time mission and be recommended by their bishops. Those under 21 will need a signed parental or guardian permission form. Accepted work crew members must be medically certified to be in excellent physical condition to withstand the strain of long workdays (12–16 hours) outdoors in heat and high humidity. Accepted work crew members will also need to provide proof of primary insurance coverage. All work crew members will be expected to observe missionary standards, including personal grooming.
