The Hill Cumorah Visitors’ Center is currently under construction. It will reopen in 2025.

The Hill Cumorah Visitors’ Center teaches about the Hill Cumorah and the events that occurred there, such as Joseph Smith receiving the golden plates from the angel Moroni. It is a great place to begin your visit to the Hill Cumorah.

The Hill Cumorah Visitors’ Center is currently closed for remodeling. It is anticipated that the visitors’ center will reopen in 2025.


What to Expect


The Hill Cumorah Visitors’ Center is a self-guided experience.

Parking 

  • Accessible parking spots are available in the Visitors’ Center parking lot

In the Hill Cumorah Visitors’ Basement is an area that groups can reserve to gather. Learn more about what this area has to offer below. A request to reserve this area can be made by submitting a Group Reservation Request. This form does not guarantee a reservation; please wait for a missionary to contact you after your request to verify availability.
