The Joseph Sr. and Lucy Mack Smith Home originally stood just north of the Joseph and Emma Smith Home on the west side of Chillicothe Road. An interpretive marker giving information about Joseph’s parents is located on the north side of the Joseph and Emma Smith Home. On the other side of the fence, a group of stones indicates the original home’s approximate location.
