The Monument to Women is an additional Relief Society Foundations experience. Since 1978, these bronze statues have commemorated the many ways women share their talents to bless the world.

What to Expect


The Monument to Women is a self-guided experience. The statues and landscaping provide a relaxing, contemplative space. After the Monument to Women, you are welcome to explore the rest of Nauvoo.

Parking

  • There is parking available north of the Monument to Women at the visitors’ center.
    • There are designated accessible parking spaces in the lot.
