The best way to start your visit to the Priesthood Restoration Site is at the Visitors’ Center. A 25-minute film, artwork, artifacts, and interactive exhibits teach about the translation of the Book of Mormon, the early revelations of Joseph Smith, Joseph and Emma Smith’s life while living in Harmony, Pennsylvania, and the restoration of the Priesthood.

Tours of the Visitors’ Center exhibits are self-guided. Guided tours of the Joseph and Emma Smith Home and the Isaac and Elizabeth Hale Home begin at the Visitors’ Center with the film Days of Harmony.

The visitors’ center shares a building with the local meetinghouse. A small cultural hall is reservable through the local branch. Contact information can be obtained from the missionaries in the Visitors’ Center.
