This new version includes a simplified interface, improved content layout, and powerful study features.
We are working on a new version of the app that will support the iPhone 5 screen size. In order to continue support for older devices, the 2.5 release does not include support for the taller iPhone 5 screen.
Minor Bug Fix - Fixed an update launch bug for those with earlier versions.
Enhancements and fixes in previous Gospel Library updates:
We have discovered a bug in updating highlights, notes, bookmarks and cross references to the new format required to allow the backup/sync with LDS.org. If you have annotations you don’t want to lose, DO NOT UPGRADE until version 2.2 is released!
This version will require you to update books upon startup. This is so that we can download new content in a format that will allow for annotation backup/sync with LDS.org. If you don’t have 10-20 minutes and a WIFI connection, wait to upgrade until you do.
Requires iOS 3.1.3 or later.
Version 2.0.1 should repair the content in your Gospel Library. In the rare case that it doesn’t, we apologize that you’ll need to delete the app from your device and reinstall it. If you are NOT concerned with losing your annotations and personalizations, please delete the version of the app on your device and get the 2.0.1 release from the store. If you ARE concerned with losing your annotations and want to keep them, then please DO NOT delete the 2.0.1 version. Please be patient as we work on a 2.0.2 update that should preserve your personalizations.
Requires iOS 3.0 or later.
Using v1 content schema.
Gospel Library is an official application of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Download and study the scriptures, general conference talks, and the many other gospel instruction materials (Gospel Principles, Hymns, Preach My Gospel, curriculum resources, and so on) published by the Church. Audio recordings of the scriptures, general conference talks, Church magazines, and new radio programming are not included, but they are available through the Church’s free Mormon Channel application.
Gospel Library allows you to search, bookmark, annotate, link, and highlight the texts. Later in 2010, these personalized study features will be available across the Church’s Web site and other platforms. Gospel Library will also soon contain the scriptures and other materials in various languages.
In addition to giving feedback through the ratings, we welcome your feedback and suggestions for improving this application on the mobile Gospel Library wiki at https://tech.lds.org/wiki/index.php/Gospel_Library_support.
This application and others coming soon are available thanks to the volunteer work of community developers. To learn how you can participate in this community development work for the Church, visit tech.lds.org.

After months of effort from our wonderful volunteer team, we are releasing the second major update for the UWP (Universal Windows Platform - Windows 10) version of Gospel Library for Windows. This version brings unified Windows 10 support for desktop, laptop, tablet, mobile and XBOX. The XBOX version is popular for family, home centered study.
This update contains major reworkings of the catalog system, the catalog structure, the content structure and search system to make the application more efficient, more stable and faster. This update serves as a foundation for future improvements to the application and will allow for new features and updates.
The progress made so far wouldn’t be possible without the help of our wonderful volunteer developers and testers who have donated thousands of hours to make this application possible on Windows. There is still much work to be done to complete the app. We appreciate your support as we continue to improve Gospel Library for Windows.
Thank You,
Windows Gospel Library Volunteer Team

All New App Released!
Welcome to the all-new Gospel Library for Windows 10. In this release, we’ve entirely rewritten the application and redesigned it from the ground up to build upon and improve your gospel study. We have added many new features and improved others, all while making the app more powerful and easier to use. Most importantly, this version unifies the same content release source, format and schedule with all the platforms including iOS, Android and the Web.
If you encounter issues, be sure to send feedback to us via the Send feedback link in the Settings pane at Settings > About > Send feedback.
New and Improved Features
New Content Source - This new version uses a unified source for its content meaning it will share the same content format and release schedule as the iOS and Android versions of Gospel Library. This also means that limitations caused by older content, like not being able to mark bulleted or numbered lists, content in tables, and other miscellaneous content, no longer exist. You can mark it all!
Tags - Gospel Library for Windows now supports tags! You can add a tag by using the Annotations ribbon, clicking the tag icon, and adding as many tags as you like! You can also add a tag to any note when editing or creating your note.
Links - You can add a personal cross reference link in Gospel Library for Windows by selecting text you’d like to link, then clicking the Link button in the Annotations ribbon. Navigate to where you’d like to link, and select it. Choose the “Link to " option in the ribbon. Your link is now created.
Role-Based Content - Users of the app that need access to calling-specific content are now able to see, open, and use relevant role-based content.
Editing Highlights and Underlines - It’s now possible and easy to edit the color, style, and size of your highlights and underlines. Select text with the highlight you’d like to edit, then press the hint bubble to bring up the context menu. If only one highlight is in the selection, you will see it appear with options in the context menu. If there are more than one, a Multiple Highlights option will appear to allow you to select the marking you want to edit.
Download All and Download Section - Windows now allows you to download all of the books in your current language in Gospel Library. To download a section, right click (or long press) on its cover on the home page, then click “Download Section.” To use Download All, press the more button (it looks like three dots) on the right side of the Home ribbon and click “Download All”.
Notebooks - Gospel Library for Windows now also allows you to create notebooks, view content in your notebooks, and add annotations to existing notebooks via the new annotations pane.
Tabs - The tabs feature has been redesigned, allowing you to make use of browser-like tabs to quickly and easily flip between open pages of Gospel Content.
Multi-Window Support - You can now open multiple Gospel Library windows at one time so that you can view content side by side from different books or sections.
Reference in New Tab or Window - you can now open references to other materials in a new tab or window by right-clicking or pressing and holding on a reference, then choosing “open in new tab” or “open in new window”.
Sheet Music - The sheet music feature has returned, now available in more languages.
Immersive Mode - Double tap or double click to hide the interface which gives you extra reading space and allows you to focus on what you’re reading.
Breadcrumbs - The new omnibox breadcrumbs your trail for you, allowing you to step back through any part of your library journey instantly. Further, you can use the arrows next to each part of the breadcrumbs to jump to a different part of the library quickly. You can also use the omnibox as a quick search to find whatever book or chapter you’re looking for.
Custom Themes - We now have a host of custom themes at your disposal in the settings menu. In addition to being able to match your system accent color, you can select a color from a list of fifty colors to customize the look of the application.
New Context Menu - The context menu has been flattened and improved to provide better discoverability and simpler interaction while adding more power for those common highlights, notes, tags and other annotations.
Rich Note Formatting - The app now includes a new note editor that supports the use of bold and italics formatting, as well as bulleted and numbered lists in your notes. The note editor exposes the ability to add tags and assign your notes to any of your notebooks.
Journal Entries - You can now create a new journal entry from the Journals Entries section of the Annotations pane and record your spiritual impressions.
Printing - Basic printing is now available. You can print the content of a chapter or article by pressing the more (...) menu on the right side of the Home ribbon and clicking “Print”. At this time, notes, highlights, and other annotations are not printed by the application.
Highlight Color Sets - You can select from one of six different highlight color palettes to adjust your highlights and underlines to match your needs.
New, Detailed Help and Tips - A brand new help guide has been written for Gospel Library for Windows 10 that offers help on each of the features of the application and offers tips on how to best take advantage of the tools the app offers.
References Pane - The references pane and a new lower snap mode for references allow users to skim through a chapter’s references with ease. The new references pane also keeps scrolled in sync with you as you read.
Interface Languages - The app’s interface has been translated into several languages so far including Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, and German. Thanks to new volunteers, Gospel Library (Windows) is being supported in Hungarian for the first time. We’ll continue to add more languages as contributions allow. If you’d like to help translate the app into your native language, please contact support through the Send feedback option in Settings > About > Send feedback.

Today we announce a language pack update to Gospel Library. This update provides content in fifteen new languages, listed below. Additionally, a few bugs have been fixed. See below.
Although the app user interface is still in English only, we hope that users familiar with the newly available languages will make use of their availability.

Version 1.11 prepares for an upcoming change in LDS.org study notebook synchronization.
Requires Windows Phone 7 or later.
