This site, which is intended to support the mission and values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (“Church”), is owned and operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a Utah corporation sole, with its principal offices in Salt Lake City, Utah, U.S.A. (“we”, “us”, or a similar term). All materials found at this site (including all content, images, videos, audio, text, icons, displays, databases, media, products, processes, and information) are owned or licensed by us. 

Unless your actions would violate any part of this Agreement, or unless we otherwise indicate, you may view, download and print materials from this site, but only for your own personal, noncommercial use (including such use in connection with your Church calling). Additionally, we may provide tools that enable you to share materials from this site to another website (such as a “share” button). Accordingly, you may share such materials by using the tools we provide on this site for that purpose, you may not otherwise share or post materials from this site to another website or to a computer network without our permission.

In addition, materials from this site may be reproduced by media personnel for use in traditional public news forums unless otherwise indicated. Any other use of information or materials found at this site, including any use by organizations or legal entities, is not permitted without our prior written permission. Code of Conduct

You agree that you will not individually, or as part of any collective effort, do any of the following:

  • use this site or any information or other materials found at this site (including any name or address) to sell or promote products or services, to solicit clients, or for any other commercial purpose;
  • delete or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notice on any materials from this site;
  • use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access this site for any purpose, including for monitoring or copying any of the materials on this site;

  • impersonate another user, Church personnel, or anyone else to hide your identity or to implicate anyone else in your actions; or
  • engage in any activity that could restrict or inhibit anyone’s use or enjoyment of this site, or which, as determined by us, may expose to liability or cause harm to us, our affiliates, this site’s users, or anyone else.

You understand that the result of harmful or offensive actions (and of any breach of this Agreement) immediately terminates your right to use this site and its materials, and may include legal action against you. Upon termination of your right to use this site, you must (at our option) return or destroy any copies of materials from this site that you have made.

Contributed Content

This site may contain message boards, chat functions, personal profiles, forums, bulletin boards, or other interactive features (“Interactive Services”) that allow users to upload, contribute, post, share, store, publish, display, transmit, or otherwise submit (“submit”) content or other materials, such as biographical information, photographs, videos, articles, annotations, notes, or other materials of any kind (collectively and individually, “Contributed Content”) on or through this site. You also agree not to submit any Contributed Content that is offensive, lewd, objectionable, vulgar, pornographic, illegal, infringing, or otherwise contrary to any Church teachings. We reserve the right (but we are not obligated to) remove any Contributed Content that we determine (for any reason) violates this Agreement. You also agree that all your Contributed Content, which we may treat as part of the materials of this site, will comply with the Code of Conduct and other terms of this Agreement.

By submitting Contributed Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • you own or control all rights in and to such Contributed Content, and you have the right to grant to us the license and waiver set forth above;
  • all of your Contributed Content complies with the terms of this Agreement; and
  • you are fully responsible for your Contributed Content, including for its legality, reliability, accuracy, and appropriateness.

We are not responsible or liable to you or to any third party for the content or accuracy of any Contributed Content submitted by you or any other user of this site. Additionally, we are not obligated to treat Contributed Content as being confidential or proprietary.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, U.S.A., as applied to agreements entered into and to be performed entirely within the state, without giving effect to any conflict-of-law principles. Any action you bring to enforce this Agreement, or any matter related to this site, must be brought in either the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah, which will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such action. You consent and submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. If any part of this Agreement is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, in whole or in part, the remaining provisions will not be affected. The terms “include” and “including” are used in this Agreement to mean “including, without limitation”.
