The Gridley California Stake does not have a location for treks, but it provides the service of purchasing, maintaining, storing, and renting 40 handcarts that can be taken to a group’s trekking site. Gridley California Stake leaders oversee the rental and return of the handcarts. These handcarts are stored at, picked up from, and dropped off at Gridley Church Farm.

Reserving and Picking up Handcarts

Rental reservations will need to be made a few months in advance by calling Jeff Adams at 1-530-1865 or by emailing him at jadams900q@gmail.com. Handcarts are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each group will schedule a pickup time when reserving the handcarts. When leaders come to check out the handcarts, they will receive instructions and review the handcart and trailer safety rules. A Driver Check-Out and Check-In form needs to be filled out when handcarts are picked up and returned.
