The people of Ammon promise God to never shed blood again and bury their weapons of war. Because of their full conversion and faith, they are blessed.

The Lord Delivers the People of Ammon

The people of Anti-Nephi-Lehies learn their brethren the Lamanites prepare for war to destroy them. They covenant to suffer death rather than shed blood and bury their weapons for peace to sin no more.

The Anti-Nephi-Lehies Bury Weapons of War 

Lamanites plot to destroy the Anti-Nephi-Lehies. The people of God suffer death and refuse to fight. Warriors are disheartened and vow to never again shed the blood of others and covenant at baptism.

People of God Suffer Death, Lamanites Converted 

Ammon has reason to rejoice over their brethren who repented and beheld the light of God and brought from the abyss to sing redeeming love. His boasting of God gives thanks for the fruits of their labors.

Ammon Glories In The Lord 

Ammon inquires of the Lord and gathers the Anti-Nephi-Lehies to Zarahemla and flee the destruction of the Amalekites. Alma and his people give them the land of Jershon to inherit and vow to protect them.
