Samuel the Lamanite prophesies of the coming of Christ, angering the Nephites. When the Nephites shoot arrows and throw stones at Samuel, he is protected by the Lord and every arrow and stone misses him.

On the city wall he says the sword of justice falleth. The people must repent of pride and inequity, or the Lord will withdraw.

They attack him on the city wall, but arrows and stones miss him, and Samuel flees while some people rage, and others rejoice.

The prophesy of Christ’s birth not yet fulfilled. Those who believe will be put to death. Nephi prays and hears God’s voice to lift up, be of good cheer, and says on the morrow come I into the world.
